The Byer name has been involved in the Wall & Ceiling Industry in Edmonton since 1951.

Over the years we have completed work on various commercial, industrial and institutional construction projects throughout Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territory. Our work experience is varied and has consisted of new construction, restoration, modernization and renovation projects.

G.R. Byer & Assoc. Ltd., is experienced in all aspects of the wall and ceiling industry including steel stud framing, drywall, suspended accoustical ceilings and demountable partitions. We pride ourselves in our extensive experience and specialize in conventional and ornamental plastering, traditional stucco systems and "EIFS" Exterior Insulated Finish Systems that can be field applied or prefabricated lightweight insulated stucco panels for year round application. Our firm also specializes in pool plastering (marsite) for new or refinishing swimming pools and other concrete restoration services.

We also specialize in the construction of a wide range of air/vapour barrier and insulation systems to retrofit and upgrade existing structures in order to improve heating costs and enhance the appearance of your building.
